In 2015 Jim sold MSK to his business partner Jason Dolmetsch. With MSK, Jim has gained a tremendous amount of experience with local zoning, planning and building permitting as well as all aspects of state permits including Act 250, the State Agency of Natural Resources, Efficiency Vermont Energy Conservation Programs and the Department of Public Safety. His career has included various projects from interstate highway design and construction, material specifications and testing, building siting and design, and construction estimating, negotiating and contracting. Jim has over 30 years of experience in the construction and engineering business. in history from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. Outside of the office, Abby serves as a justice of the peace and a member of the Board of Civil Authority for the Town of Shaftsbury, and she stays busy as the mother of two awesome sons. With a firm grasp of state and local permitting requirements, Abby contributes to feasibility assessment during project development, supports and expedites engineering design, and helps our construction team protect clients from risk through permit compliance.

As a member of MSKвЂ™s leadership team, Abby helps guide the companyвЂ™s direction and growth. She brings to this position more than a decade of experience in law firms specializing in residential and commercial property transactions.

ДЄbby directs permitting and contract development at MSK. in civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he has also worked as an adjunct professor. He is a member of the Vermont Business Roundtable. Jason currently serves on the board of the Bennington County Industrial Corporation, and he provide s leadership to the Southern Vermont CEDS steering committee as chair of the Bennington County Regional Economic Development board. In his decade of service, he contributed to a wide range of community renewal and reinvestment initiatives, including a major redevelopment project that required new wastewater treatment infrastructure, for which Jason secured a $160,000 grant from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to fund an innovative o n-site wastewater system treating 8,000 gallons per day. In 2005, he joined the Cambridge (NY) Community Partnership. In keeping with this philosophy, Jason works to develop new leaders in the engineering profession who can not only solve pressing client problems but also cultivate new opportunities for community investment, growth, and transformation.ДЄs a professional committed to building vibrant communities, Jason is an active and involved community member.
